Am I really the only person who views this album as a step down? I have listened through it a few times now and still don't get it.

I guess they are supposed to be performing it in it's entirety at their show- I'm hoping that helps me get it more

Remission > Leviathan > Blood Mountain > Crack The Skye

Leviathan and Remission are never firmly decided but they are definitely my favourites.

Crack The Skye might pass Blood Mountain though. If only Blood Mountain kept the strength of the first five songs throughout. Lordy.

And jyeah Oblivion wins Crack The Skye, even if the vocals sound like Ozzy.

Yeah I'm going on Thursday, it's a good bill but I am not a huge fan of the new Mastodon album. I heard they will be playing it in entirety can anyone confirm that?

I've been listening to it all week trying to get into it but it just isn't the same to me
