According to wikipedia, in 1966, billboard top 100 notes #32 as being "Love Theme from Flight of the Phoenix", as done by instrumental group, The Brass Ring.

#32 on our Top 100 Songs of 1966 is "Under my Thumb" by The Rolling Stones.


Wait, did you think that those were the Top 100 Best-Selling Singles of 1966? or what?
This isn't the Billboard chart. This is what the users of this forum believe are the best songs of the year.

Actually, it's what the editor of the list believes are the greatest songs of the year, based on a set of objective criteria.
