I know I know...
The numbering is pretty incidental. We all know I love Bill to death. He probs woulda been Top 10 if he hadn't played for Yes.
Heart Of The Sunrise is for life though... |

Can't say I really like any besides Vander and Bonham, but hey, those two are awesome.
I can most definitely recommend you some Damon Che drumming. Check out Don Caballero's World Class Listening Problem |

You really like it more than Don Cab 2? Probably the best drumming album in my opinion. |

Well some songs on Don Cab 2 feature better drumming. One might say that Stupid Puma is one of the awesomest drum tracks ever recorded.
But I much prefer the music on WCLP and how the drumming doesn't quite stand alone as much. I think that since they reformed and switched to Relapse, Don Cab has been playing much more musical and harmoniously. Especially with songs like World Class Listening Problem, Palm Trees In The Feckin Bahamas, Punkgasm, The Loudest Shop Vac In The World, Pour You Into The Rug, ... |

| Well, I'm a big fan of Ian as well so Caballero for me is the albums from the 90's. You have a point, tho.. |

Probs also has to do with the fact that I only got into Don Cab last year, a week before the release of Punkgasm. I had heard Mmm... Acting... I love me Some Good Acting once and loved the drumming. A few days later I was cruising through the record store and came across Punkgasm on vinyl, which I then immediately bought. I didn't listen to it immediately, but a few days later I got word of a Don Cab show in my hometown. My my my what an experience. After the show I bought World Class Listening Problem at the merch stand.
That's probs why I lean more towards their new stuff. |
