Okay so I was in doubts whether I should post this here or in the post-metal thread (if there is one...)

But I figured more posters over here would dig it... I don't know how famous these dudes are, but I listened to their first album and man oh man was that awesome. I wish I was stoned as hell, but I felt it too early in the morning to blaze up.

Anyway here's some Russian Circles

They're like a harder Porcupine Tree mixed with Explosions in the Sky...idk that's not a great analogy.

That's why I posted in here. I wish I was uber stoned when I got into them and wished that others would not have to go through the same manner of torture.

I counter your controversial statement with a much more common sentiment

:COMMON SENTIMENT TOWARDS YOUR CONTROVERSIAL STATEMENT:

GET BENT

That said, I don't think they qualify much anymore, but they made stoner metal what it is today, and its still awesome to smoke a huge bowl and listen to it

I'm excited for their next release. Their last one was really drone/noise stuff that was pulled off pretty well.
