It's not something you would read a second time... at all, but i'm glad I read it.

I remember right after I read Night, probably the weekend after i finished it, I watched Schindler's List. After that, Night didn't seem quite as intense.

Well any song that has apparently contributed to suicide has to be 'depressing', doesn't it?

Speaking of song's with the word 'song' in the title, following the name of someone, howe about Ana's Song by Silverchair? It's just such a brilliantly written song about Daniel Johns' battle with anorexia, and very powerful. I especially love the lyrics, " And Ana wrecks your life like an anorexia life."

A very simple song and somewhat repetitive, but so damn depressing - proceed at your own risk...

Tokyo Hotel's music. It makes me feel like locking myself up in a chamber, cut myself with a razorblade, wear make-up and write shitty lyrics about it...

Do we mean depressing as in mellowing and chilling or as in causing one to become very unhappy?

Leonard Cohen - "One Of Us Cannot Be Wrong"
Big Star - "Holocaust"
The Magnetic Fields - "Take Ecstasy With Me"

I've heard a ton of downbeat songs (duh) but only a few that are genuinely depressing.
