after reading the above article on what they think are the 20 greatest verses of all time, i began to think it would be a good idea for a list.
So, what say you ddd, what are our favorite verses? NO criteria needed, other than hype i guess. |

| Definitely agree with their pick of Deck's verse on Triumph. I'd have to think about this a lot to come up with any sort of list of my own, though. |

| I'm glad I'm not the only one who loves that Cappa verse, just brutal. I'll cook up a list in a bit. |

Here are some that I can think of:
Eminem's first verse on Jay-Z's Renegade
Ice Cube's first verse on No Vaseline
Slick Rick on Mos Def's Auditorium
Ghostface Killah's first verse on Bring Da Ruckus
The Biggie verse from Life After Death that's used on Ghostface's 3 Bricks
El-P, last verse on Tasmanian Pain Coaster
Nas, first verse on NY State of Mind
GZA, first verse on Liquid Swords
GZA, first verse on Gold
MF Doom, first verse on All Caps
Eminem, second verse on The Way I Am
Wale, second verse on The Kramer
Rakim, first verse on I Ain't No Joke
first verse on B.O.B. by OutKast
Inspectah Deck's verse on Triumph
Obviously missing a lot, but I only went for verses that I could bring to mind without listening to the songs. |

YES.
The allhiphop list is pretty spot on, but heres a few more off the top of my head:
Cage's first verse on Agent Orange
Holocaust/Warcloud on Holocaust
Vast Aire on Iron Galaxy
Cormega's second verse on Testament
Canibus on Desperadoes
Nas on Verbal Intercourse
Virtuoso on Man of the Hour |

Bishop Lamont-Goatit
Pharoahe Monch-Oh No
Crooked I-Move On (Remix)
Crooked I-Halos
You already know it's not exhaustive, but whatever, right now I am just looking to enjoy the music, not rank it. |

| That Canibus verse is probably my favorite verse of all time. Good call on Eminem's verse in "Renegade", I always liked that song a lot. |
