Take Bastille Day off immediately, I never understood why it was on here |

| i'd take out whipping post , simply cause the studio version hardly deserves a mention compared to the live performance , so id put in my tree there and tommy the cat ahead of it obviously, maybe , depending on whether its better than red or not , in either of those spots... |

Honestly, I don't even see why Red is on there. Starless (or pretty much any other track from Red) is infinitely better to me. *shrug* Anyways, from lurking here a while, I've come up with quite a few suggestions. I'll rattle 'em off, ask about any of 'em.
I'm a Man - Danny Seraphine (Chicago) (much better than Make Me Smile, BTW, MMS isn't that great)
Over the Mountain - Lee Kerslake (Ozzy Osbourne)
Ringsing and the Glass Guitar (An Electrified Fairytale) - John "Willie" Wilcox (Utopia)
Rust in Peace (Polaris) - Nick Menza (Megadeth) (way outshadows both Hangar 18 and Holy Wars, IMO)
Some lesser ones (that I don't really care about getting on):
Victim of Changes - Alan Moore (Judas Priest)
Hocus Pocus - Pierre van der Linden (Focus)
Walk This Way - Joey Kramer (Aerosmith) (hah, it'd be fun, but this isn't really serious. At all.)
Live: Steal Away (The Night) - Tommy Alridge (Ozzy Osbourne) (Tribute)
Maybe an Iron Maiden one too? I was thinking Powerslave or Rime of the Ancient Mariner from Live After Death...
...Dammit, there were more, I just can't remember them. Oh well.
Also, some I don't see why All Along the Watchtower, Jessica, The Song Remains the Same, Bastille Day, or White Room are on there. And Malignant Narcissism needs to move way up.
Oh, and Born to Run actually wasn't Max Weinberg, it was Ernest "Boom" Carter. |

As long as these two get on, I could care less what you take off. |

| I'm a Man is probably Seraphine's best performance. |

I will take some of those into consideration. And thanks for the info on Born To Run, I didn't know that...
As for Red, it most definitely stays in as it is so unbelievably sexy. Please read this first before continuing to post... |

why is stream of conciousness in there
dance of eternity,6:00, honor thy father are much better
also, i know it is a good drum song , but why is 21CSM so high on the list?
seriously, i want to know, this is not an insult, just curious. Don't take it personal.
The Grudge Rocksss, Third eye should be on the list. |

| Honor Thy Father isn't very interesting, apart from the intro... Stream of Consciousness is a much more full performance, and 21CSM is just amazing... There's not much more to it... Very impressive and awesome! |

If you have to question why 21CSM is where it is, there is something missing in your life. |

| I agree though, SoC should not be Portnoy's highest. I would give that to Dance of Eternity, but more tasteful and creative, where SoC is just masturbation (in a good way). |

| Dance of Eternity is not that impressive, it's much too repetitive, for a large portion of the song he has the double bass pedal going at the same steady pace... boringgggg |

| and say Jesus Christ Pose or War Ensemble aren't repetative? Aside from the quavers, I don't see much repetativeness except where necessary. |
