I assumed you were thinking in terms of who you'd most like to see nude.

What about Geddy Lee? I would love to see him put down the bass in which he'd mastered to just straight jam on keyboard. It might be nice... Cool

At one point in the 80's Hammer did turn to rock.
Kerry Minnear from Gentle Giant is a way more interesting keyboardist than Wakeman or Emerson. Influence or popularity is over-rated, I listen to something for what it is. The creativity of Minnear blows most of these tools away.

Now Debussy.... there was a keyboardist

Brent Mydland (Grateful Dead) should be on here. As should JoJo Herman (Widespread Panic).

Is it me, or should Kerry Minnear be a lot higher? Like Top 50? His keyboard skills are insane, and he has no trouble with strange time signature changes.

Where the hell is Jurgen Fritz of Triumvirat? He's like the German Keith Emerson.

I've read a few pages and seen many requests for Jordan Rudess to be moved higher, but not many arguments against it.

I certainly reckon he deserves a top 10 spot, does anyone have any argument (or "evidence") to putting every single one of the 1-11 keyboardists above him?

I like the top 3.

Why isn't Tuomas Holopainen of Nightwish on here? The guy is probably third to Rudess and Johannsson as the most influential metal keyboardist of all time.
