Finally I've decided to do this... He is by any means underrated as a vocalist...
I'd say his strongest points are his power and his cool rough tone... Also, he's got a 3 octave full voice range...

Most of his best performances are not on the youtube, so I'll upload them later...for now I'll give you some other great ones:

Yeah, he is. And he is very passionate when it comes to singing, everytime he sings you feel that he is giving his all...

Neg, I think Bon Jovi album These Days is for you, it was released in 1995 and has nothing similar with there glam period of the 80's... It's a sad, melancholic album with some bluesy elements...
I'll post link to tittle track when youtube is working again...

Keep the Faith is still my favorite performance by him. Extremely powerful chest and the way he just throws his voice so hard is intense. I like his tone also. Always, Run away, and lay your hands on me are good also.

Wanted, where else does he sing as hard as in Keep the Faith?

Wanted, that first link on the beginning post was some great Bon Jovi singing. Amazing projection even during the not so high chest sung parts, and the rawness in general combined with those great 4th octave belt towards the end made it awesome. I liked In the Arms also, similar rough style.

Yeah, that's probably his best live performance ever,..
Anyway, another gem from Keep The Faith, it's a nearly 10 minuta epic called Dry County:

And another one from These Days:

Keep The Faith was by far the best one! I'm not really in love with his tone, but his phrasing and power can be very awesome at times.
