| Nice review and song descriptions, but i think you gave out a few too many 10/10s. I like this album a lot, but the casual Pearl Jam fan will probally disagree more with a few of the ratings. |

| I think Bugs is absolute genius...Foxy sucks some tremendous ass though...it almost ruins the album for me. I can't listen to it when I sleep cause of that fucking song, it messes with my dreams. I think the review was good, and being the huge pearl jam fan that I am I would have graded it just about the same...it's really hard for me to rate any of their songs less than ten lol. |

| Excellent review. In my opinion this is a strong album and one of Pearl Jam's best. Not for You is my favorite song on the album. |

Bugs is 9/10 if you listen to it with the rest of the album, and know what they were trying to do. It's not great as a song on its own, it's not even a song. As a song I give it 1/10. As interesting material used to transition from one song to another, it is 9/10. And I definatley think Spin the Black Circle is an 8/10. What were you thinking?

What do you think should be lowered?

I disagree. I think it has a great message. And if you don't like it, don't listen to it. |

Pearl Jam does tribal music. Tasteful work by every member. 10/10.

top album but there are two 10 /10 songs on it. Immortality and Corduroy. Bugs, Aye Davanite, Stupid Mop and Pry,to aren't even album worthy. Great bands , great albums but let's not get overboard.
Satan's Bed 10? more like 6
Nothingman 10? more like 7.5
Spin Black Circle 8 more like 7
Bugs 6
Aye Davanita 3
Stupid Mop 0.5
Pry,to 2
in a real musical sense we need to keep things in perspective man and i realise many might disagree but..... |

Great review. I love this album.

Clearly a song about suicide and/or contemplation of. However, Eddie has denied that it is about Kurt Cobain's death, as rumored. Some of the best lyrics ever, if you have ever thought of suicide, and most of us have, then you can relate to this song. This is another song that reminds me of Neil Young as far as overall songwriting style is concerned. There is a trapdoor in the sun. This is another high point of the album, even though the whole thing is great. 10/10. |
This song was originally written before Cobain's death, but a lot of the lyrics were changed after. In my opinion, it was written because of Cobain's death, but it is not about his death. It's about more than that, and isn't describing an event. |

No. Go in the exact order of the album releases:
Ten
VS
Vitalogy
No Code
Yield
Binaural
Riot Act
I'm not sure why I feel that that's the order. I just think that with each album, the band wrote more and more toward the fans rather than toward the general public. |

| Uh... obviously "Bugs" wasn't meant to be a "good song" in the traditional sense. Of course it would get a 0 if I was actually comparing it to a traditional "good song". You have to take it for what it is: self-indulgance. |
