| I feel like this guy needs a seperate thread. One of the more brilliant minds in drumming since the eighties. His way of creating rythmic illusions is mesmerising to say the least. |

If anyone has the chance, watch his Rythmic Visions DVD. He pulls of some totally insane stuff there.
or just download this... It's a lot (4.2GB) but it is totally brilliant.

| Gavin Harrison is a beast. He seems like a Metal Jazz Drummer, a little like Martin Lopez I guess, but their styles are totally different. Way Out of Here and Anesthetize from the Fear of A Blank Planet album are both amazing drum tracks. |

| I had the opporunity to see King Crimson this summer at the Keswick, and seeing what Gavin brought to those classic tracks was quite a treat. As a matter of fact, there's a live download for 9.99 of KC's Chicago show on dgmlive.com. I highly recommend it. |

This guy is a fucking beast on the drums. His drums to Anesthetize is a beauty and perfect. I love air drumming to it . He has the groove, skill and knows exactly what to do.

Haha yeah he is indeed truly amazing... I can't listen to him for too long becayse I don't like Porcupine Tree and I don't like the music from his solo albums. But his plays so beautifully that I find myself listening to both quite often. Just not for more than 10 minutes |

What does everyone think of Gavin's playing on the brand new OSI album? Brilliance yes?
btw, I'm an avid porcupine tree fan in case no one knew that about me.
Going to see them this september and he's the part i'm most excited for! |
